Initial Wash

Our Plush Organic Playmats are crafted from certified organic linen and hand-finished using premium recycled fill. Because of the natural fibres and plush construction, you may notice a small amount of surface fibre when first unpacking or during early use. This is completely normal and part of the production process.

We recommend a gentle wash before first use to allow the fibres to settle and to ensure your playmat looks and feels its best from day one.

Spot Cleaning

Our playmats feature a TPU waterproofing layer. This means that minor spills will not be absorbed into the fabric. If a minor spills or stains does occur, gently blot with a soft cloth and mild, eco-friendly detergent or water. Avoid scrubbing, as this can damage the fabric. If the stain persists, you can use a diluted vinegar solution (1 part vinegar, 3 parts water) for gentle treatment.

Machine Washing

All our playmats are machine washable using a delicate, cold water cycle and a mild, sensitive detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh chemicals.

Drying

Air dry your playmat flat in the sunshine to avoid shrinking or damage. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as the heat can cause the linen to lose its natural softness and strength. If needed, lightly iron or steam to remove any wrinkles. This may be required particularly with our Signature Organic Playmat as a 'bubbling' effect between the polyester base and linen top may occur. This is due to linen being a natural fibre. 

Storage

Store your playmat in it's dust bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. 

Routine Care

Linen naturally softens with use and washing, so regular care will keep your playmat in great shape. Make sure to wash it every few weeks or as needed, depending on usage.
