Care Guide
Before First Use
Our playmats are crafted from premium organic materials and finished with premium recycled fill. As each piece is vacuum packed to reduce our environmental impact, you may notice natural creasing, slight compression, or temporary transfer from packaging and storage upon opening. This is completely normal and can be resolved during the initial wash.
We recommend a gentle wash before first use to allow the fibres to relax, the plush inner to settle and expand (a gentle redistribution by hand may be required), and your playmat to restore to its intended softness and shape—ready for your baby from day one.
Spot Cleaning
Our playmats feature a TPU waterproofing layer. This means that minor spills will not be absorbed into the fabric. If a minor spills or stains does occur, gently blot with a soft cloth and mild, eco-friendly detergent or water. Avoid scrubbing, as this can damage the fabric.
Machine Washing
All our playmats are machine washable using a delicate, cold water cycle and a mild, sensitive detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, bleach, or harsh chemicals.
Drying
Air dry your playmat flat in the sunshine to avoid shrinking or damage. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as the heat can cause the linen to lose its natural softness and strength. If needed, lightly iron or steam to remove any wrinkles. Occasionally, natural variations in the linen may create a slight bubbling effect after washing. Light steaming or ironing will help restore a smooth finish.
Storage
Store your playmat in it's dust bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Routine Care
Linen naturally softens with use and washing, so regular care will keep your playmat in great shape. With regular use and washing, linen naturally softens over time. Wash as needed to keep your playmat fresh and looking its best.
